An old Oscar Will variety that is fast-growing, handles drought well and is high producing for its size and nutrient requirements. Corns of this type were traditionally used for a late summer pasture. When pasture lands had dried up, you would turn the livestock in to “hog off” the crop. The 5-foot plants routinely produce two 6-inch ears with 8 rows of ivory-white kernels per cob.
